The Moodie Davitt Report: The “giant” behind The Trinity Forum

The Trinity Forum 2024 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 5 and 6, 2024. This year's Trinity Forum is hosted by the Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) and the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), at the invitation of The Moodie Davitt Report, Airports Council International (ACI) and ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East.

The Moodie Davitt Report is published by independent company Moodie International, now one of the world’s most successful multi-media business-to-business publishers. It was founded in 2002 by then sole owner Martin Moodie (who today controls 75% of the company).

The website was launched as The Moodie Report in 2003 and quickly became established as an indispensable source of reliable and real-time business intelligence on the global travel retail sector.

The Moodie Davitt Report also organises many events around the world to connect readers, experts, partners and customers with each other. Currently, this magazine is behind The Trinity Forum (travel retail forum) and Airport Food & Beverage + Hospitality Conference & Awards.

The Trinity Forum brings together the world’s airports, brands, and concessionaires, alongside their business partners in the travel retail sector for provocative and stimulating conversations.

Previous years' forums were held in Singapore, Hong Kong, Qatar, Shanghai, Paris,... witnessing the participation of giants in the field such as Qatar Duty Free, Kansai Airports (Japan), SSP Group (England).

Accompanying The Moodie Davitt Report at The Trinity Forum is Airports Council International (ACI) and ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East. ACI is an organisation representing more than 2,100 airports in 191 countries around the world. ACI works to promote the development of a safe, efficient and sustainable civil aviation industry.

Meanwhile, the Airport Food & Beverage + Hospitality Conference & Awards is the only global event focused on the airport food and beverage and hospitality industry. The conference takes place over two days and includes seminars, workshops, exhibitions and an awards ceremony with more than 300 delegates from more than 30 countries.

In 2023, Mr. Martin Moodie, founder of The Moodie Davitt Report, came to Vietnam and had a meeting and interview with Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG). The meeting inspired Moodie a lot about a businessman wholeheartedly dedicating himself to his country, while building a business that contributes to the change of Vietnam. This is also the first step in Vietnam for The Moodie Davitt Report promoting The Trinity Forum for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City under the chairmanship of IPPG and ACV.
